Hot Slut Of The Day!
Kato, the big ball of white fluffiness who is too delicate for hiking! I’ve been trying to retire that whole “is all of us” thing, but I am going to bring it out of semi-retirement to say that Kato is. all. of. us.
We’ve honestly all been there. We decide, for whatever fucked up reason (probably dick, some dick we’re trying to get on wants to go for a hike), that we want to be all Laura Jeanne Poon in Wild by going for a 30, okay 20 minute hike in nature. So we put the necessities in our backpack like Hot Fries, little cans of wine, lube, and Wet Wipes, and we carry a picnic basket to throw at any bear we come across (I learned that from the documentary Yogi Bear). Then we go for the hike, and after about 10, okay 5, minutes, we feel like we’re going to die of exhaustion and scream at our hiking partner to call for rescue! I mean, we’ve all been there, and Kato was there too, but Kato lasted for a mile. Show off!
KUSA-TV says that Evergreen Fire Rescue in Colorado got a call about a 5-year-old, 120lb victim who was dehydrated and needed help on the Maxwell Falls trail. The victim turned out to be Kato, the Great Pyrenees. Stacee Martin, the public information officer for the Evergreen Fire Department, said that Kato and his humans were about a mile into the trail, and Kato was down and out, but alive!
When the department arrived, she said Kato was exhausted and couldn’t get up — but was still alert.
“He needed some help,” she said.
Martin said that Kato looked grateful to see his rescuers — just like most human patients do when the fire department arrives to help.
She said the department used the same device to carry Kato that they use to transport other hikers in distress.
Here’s the pictures of Kato being carried to safety:
Today’s EFR had a “patient” on the Maxwell Falls trail who was exhausted and most likely dehydrated. About 5 1/2 years old, 120lbs and a fluffy Great Pyrenees named Kate. Good thing Kato’s humans reached out for assistance as they were about 1 mile away from the trail head. pic.twitter.com/Zrb7G28T1e

Sooooo did I make Kato HSOTD just so I could post these pictures of him being carried like he’s Cleopatra? No. Maybe. Yes.
