Taylor Swift Said On “Ellen” That She Regrets Calling Out Joe Jonas

We have officially time warped back to 2008 as Taylor Swift is talking about a Joe Jonas break-up, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan are fighting. and Sam Lufti is harassing Britney Spears. Taylor Swift went on Ellen to promote her latest children song and said she regrets talking about her relationship with Joe Jonas on Ellen DeGeneres’ show. You know, because talking about relationships hasn’t served Taylor (or her bank account) well at all in the last 10 years. In fact, if we’ve learned anything from the late 2000s (and judging from where we are…we have not) it’s that Taylor should always put who ever she’s dated on blast.

According to People

Swift, 29, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday, and participated in a round of “Burning Questions” where she revealed that of all the rebellious things she did as a teenager, slamming Jonas on national television for breaking up with her via phone was at the top of the list.

“Probably when I like, put Joe Jonas on blast on your show,” she told DeGeneres. “That was too much. Yeah, that was too much. I was 18. We laugh about it now, but that was mouthy … just teenage stuff there.”

So if Taylor Swift was doing “mouthy teenage stuff” then, what is she doing now? Well, I guess her new song is “mouthy toddler stuff” so she’s aging backward (did she visit that shaman?). And she says that like it’s a bad thing. “Mouthy teenage stuff” (but not kissing stuff, gross) is what made her a multi-millionaire star!

For those who don’t remember the infamous 27 phone calls from Joe Jonas to Taylor, here’s a reminder of Joe’s response to Taylor’s claim on his Myspace page.

“For those who have expressed concern over the ’27 second’ phone call, I called to discuss feelings with the other person,” he wrote at the time. “Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk.”

A sassy Jonas brother! On Myspace! All of this makes me long for simpler times. I also wonder if Joe took her out of his top 8 friends, because cause if he did, it was THAT serious.
