Hot Slut Of The Day!

Daisy May Cooper, who worked one of my favorite looks from the Met Gala and she wasn’t even at the Met Gala!

While many celebrities show up to events looking like a hot pile of trash (see: nearly ever Kartrashian), British TV actress Daisy May Cooper showed up to The BAFTA TV Awards yesterday wearing actual trash complete with a pigeon-head hat. I was going to sarcastically say that the people sitting behind Daisy May must’ve loved sitting in front of a pile of trash, but they probably were happy, because after unwrapping their hard candy, they could just throw the plastic wrapper onto her dress and call it FASHUN!

Daisy May, who stars and co-created the BBC Three show This Country with her brother, told reporters that her knock-off Derelicte ensemble only cost her about £5. It was a statement of sorts, and Daisy May donated the money she would’ve spent on a real dress to a local food bank.

“The reason I’m wearing this is if I wore a normal dress, that would cost a lot of money and I thought I’d donate that money to a local food bank and wear bin bags instead,” she explained.

This is a win for Daisy May Cooper for several reasons. First of all, money got donated to charity. Second of all, she won a Project Runway unconventional challenge without being a Project Runway contestant. Third of all, that Trash Heap couture introduced her to those of us who had no idea who Daisy May Cooper is.

The only problem you can run into with wearing Hefty eleganza is that a garbage person will pick you up, throw you into their truck, and drive you to the dump where seagulls will attack you before the rats defend you and proclaim you as their new queen. I’m pretty sure that is the real origin story of Marjory the Trash Heap.
