Tamar Braxton Is Still Waiting For A Check From Towanda And A Divorce From Vincent Herbert

There was a time not too long ago when the Braxton sisters laughed and sang during many episodes of their hit reality television show, Braxton Family Values, and youngest sister, Tamar Braxton, was always the one searching for fame by singing the loudest. Well, now, in the eight years since its premiere, Tamar has gone onto international superstardom and she still loves to sing. Only these days, her two favorite songs are “Hit the Road Jack” and “Bitch Better Have My Money.” Unfortunately, these selections are aimed specifically at her estranged husband Vincent Herbert and older sister Towanda Braxton, because she’s at war with both of them.

I’m not sure if the producers over at WeTV pulled all of the Braxton’s into a room and said “We need more drama or you’re cancelled!”, because this current season has been dripping with more arguments and accusations than all one hundred seasons of Law & Order. Still, when you’re on a reality television show, drama brings ratings and ratings bring checks. And since we’re on the subject of checks, TMZ reports that Tamar’s older sister Towanda, known as the “responsible one,” is kind of not as responsible as everyone thinks since she’s now on the hook to Tamar for the sum of $35,000.

Tamar’s older sister, Towanda, hit a rough patch … filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy — that’s the serious kind. In the docs, you have to list your various debts — and that includes owing Tamar a cool $35k for a personal loan. And, to add to her problem, Towanda says she’s only bringing in an average of $4,692.50 in monthly income but estimates her monthly expenses at just over $6k.

Oh, but it gets worse. Towanda isn’t necessarily rolling in the dough as one would think, because documents obtained by TMZ show that she’s $547,000 in the hole with roughly $277,000 in assets. And I’m sure while this is going on, Toni Braxton, who knows a thing or two about bankruptcy, is sending all of Towanda’s calls straight to voicemail to avoid the money conversation. Actually, she doesn’t need to do that, because Towanda’s ringtone is  probably “I Need a Dollar” by Aloe Blacc, so she just ignores the call when it comes through.

Meanwhile, as that subplot heats up, TMZ also reports that Tamar is ready to get her divorce from Vincent Herbert finalized so she can move on with her life. She’s already been showcasing her new man David Adefeso while still married to Herbert, however she’s ready to toss him aside like she did with her millions of wigs when she started rocking the Amber Rose baldie.

Tamar is going through a divorce with estranged husband Vincent Herbert … and according to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Tamar wants to be officially single, even if the court has not yet finalized the split of the former couple’s assets. In the docs, Tamar says she believes, “there is nothing the Court can do to salvage or repair the marriage.”

Tamar originally filed for divorce back in October of 2017, so why the hell they haven’t finalized it yet is anyone’s guess. Also, I’m not sure how you can still be married and showcase a new piece of ass in front of the entire world without being sued by your former spouse, but then again I’ve never been married, so I can parade all of my pieces around whenever the hell I want! Still, all of this sounds messy as hell, which is perfect for the Braxton’s since their lives stay messier than a two-month old’s diaper.
