Open Post: Hosted By Sigourney Weaver Showing Up To The High School Production Of “Alien”

So, we all knew this, but Sigourney Weaver is a sweetheart as well as being a total badass HBIC. Remember those rad kids from North Bergen High in New Jersey who staged a theatrical production of Alien as their class play? People reports that Sigourney Weaver was so delighted by their efforts that she took in a performance. And came backstage to congratulate them. My high school class play was West Side Story and you didn’t see Natalie Wood popping up to visit. Granted, she was already way dead by then but you know what I’m getting at.
Here’s a clip of Ripley surprising them all:

Sigourney, who I hope suggested a retelling of Working Girl for next year’s class play, told the students that what they were doing was “so cool and so important.” Sigourney knows cool and important. She’s Ellen Ripley for god’s sake. She’s so good that I even own Alien 3 and Alien Ressurection just to complete my Alien franchise collection and those films are fairly awful.
Look who stopped by North Bergen High to visit the spectacular cast of Alien: The Play. Thank you, Sigourney Weaver! And thank you, North Bergen High! #AlienDay #Alien40th pic.twitter.com/ObMZh4m4t3
