Britney Spears Responds To Rumors That She’s Being Held Against Her Will By Saying She’s Okay 

Don’t worry people, Britney Spears is okay! …I think. After rumors started from the Britney’s Gram podcast that her sole conservator Daddy Spears is keeping her in a mental institution against her will after she refused to take her meds, she has popped up on Instagram to say she’s taking some time to herself and that she can stand up for herself. I’m sure the #FreeBritney conspiracy theorists spent their night analyzing how many times Brit blinked and tried to see if she was screaming for help through Morse Code.

Brit Brit announced back in January that she was putting her Las Vegas residency on hold to take care of Daddy Spears who had ruptured his colon. But Britney was also dealing with her own issues which led to her checking into a mental health facility. Not long after that, the #FreeBritney movement was born when those podcasters claimed she was being held against her will and was dancing for the entertainment of the cruel asylum orderly and magically transporting herself  to a realm where she fought against getting lobotomized. Well Britney is here to tell you that’s not happening.

Lil sister, Jamie Lynn Spears already gave her two cents on why you need to leave Britney all the way alone and stop the nonsense, but Brit Brit put it in her own words:

I wanted to say hi, because things that are being said have just gotten out of control!!! Wow!!! There’s rumors, death threats to my family and my team, and just so many things crazy things being said. I am trying to take a moment for myself, but everything that’s happening is just making it harder for me. Don’t believe everything you read and hear. These fake emails everywhere were crafted by Sam Lutfi years ago… I did not write them. He was pretending to be me and communicating with my team with a fake email address. My situation is unique, but I promise I’m doing what’s best at this moment ??? You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want! Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way. If you could do that, I would be forever grateful. Love you ❤️❤️❤️

About those fake emails, Sam Lutfi denies writing them and says that Brit’s team is once again trying to ruin his pristine reputation, and Sam also thinks (because you care what Sam Lutfi thinks) that she didn’t write that caption and that it’s a diversion from her team’s control over her.

Meanwhile, The Blast claims that her release from the facility is “imminent.” They have a source saying that Britney is not being held against her will and has come and gone from the facility on a number of times such as Easter Sunday when she was looking spacey with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari. The people close to Britney think the #FreeBritney movement is actually doing “a disservice” to Britney and that she wants to be in the facility.

Sources say it was a “perfect storm” of things which made Britney snap, and that “she just needed to check out of her life” while she readjusted her medication. So hopefully, Brit Brit is getting it together and will soon get back to doing amateur acrobatics with her hot boyfriend.
