Mr. Magoo, the African grey parrot who hates Frank Sinatra!
The relationship between a parrot and Alexa is a complicated one. Although, the relationship between a parrot and ANYTHING is a complicated one, same goes for that tricky bitch Alexa. Some parrots have embraced sharing their living space with an Alexa, and have even tricked that dum dum robot into being its bitch by ordering deliciousness off of it, etc… Then there’s parrots like Mr. Magoo here, who are thisclose to unleashing a mountain of bird caca all over his human’s Alexa to shut its speaker holes up so it can’t play Frank Sinatra!
Mr. Magoo’s human recorded a video of her asking Alexa to play New York, New York, and at around the 0:37 mark it becomes clear that the song does things to him because I’m pretty sure he barfs in his beak. Mr. Magoo then politely tells Alexa in perfect human English to stop. Mr. Magoo’s human must be begging for a visit from the ASPCA because she continues to commit bird torture by telling Alexa to play New York, New York again. But Mr. Magoo puts a stop to it and I’m surprised he didn’t tell Alexa to play Highway To Hell instead since Alexa takes him on a journey to the Ninth Circle every time it plays New York, New York.
Maybe there’s more to this. Maybe Mr. Magoo lived in New York once, where he fell in love with a pigeon who broke his heart and flew off with his best friend, so New York, New York reminds him of that heartbreak. Or maybe he just really hates Frank Sinatra. I hope that’s not because he’s a die hard Woody Allen stan or I’d have to revoke his HSOTD title!
