CrossFit Co-Founder Lauren Jenai Has Found New Love With A Man In Jail For Murder

CrossFit is a scary cult and you can’t convince me otherwise. The fact that the program’s co-founder, Lauren Jenai, is newly engaged to a man who’s currently in a Florida jail on first-degree murder charges, only bolsters this assumption. According to Page Six, Lauren sold her shares of the company to her (now) ex-husband Greg Glassman for $20 million to facilitate their 2013 divorce. That means she has plenty of cash to spend on her new fella Franklin Tyrone Tucker, who she’d known in high school, and recently reconnected with via Facebook. But then he got arrested for allegedly stabbing someone in a treehouse in the Florida Keys during a home invasion/armed robbery involving a crack deal gone bad. The victim was a good Samaritan who was investigating the commotion. That might turn some people off, but not CrossFit people. CrossFit people go all in.

Here’s the happy couple. They used to be able to have video chats but they had that privilege revoked for “100 years” because as Lauren put it, “I got a little risqué . . . I was touching my boobs”.

Franklin is one lucky, unlucky man. He was unlucky in getting caught allegedly stabbing a man to death (a woman’s throat was also slashed during the encounter), but he’s lucky in love. Lauren agreed to pay Franklin’s $1 million bond so they could get married as soon as possible, but he was denied bail. Now they are planning a prison wedding this summer.

Jenai now says they’ll tie the knot at the detention center where he’s been locked up since 2017.

She told us, “We would be allowed to have a wedding in jail . . . [we] would get to be together for the first time in the same room” during their courtship.

How exciting for her. I hope her nipple doesn’t pop out during the ceremony! And just to prove that this union is made of 100% pure love, Lauren isn’t going to ask for a prenup.

She added she won’t have Tucker sign a prenup: “Our relationship is very open and we are a team. I trust him. I love him. My house is his house. A prenup feels a little inappropriate.”

Here’s a drawing Franklin made for her in jail. The caption reads:

To the girl who has everything, from the boy who has close to nothing: commissioned inmate art. Medium: Skittles and M&Ms

Isn’t it romantic!
