Nicki Minaj’s Registered Sex Offender Boyfriend Pleaded Guilty To Driving On A Suspended License

Today in People Who Have Done Illegal Things Getting In Trouble For Doing Different Less-Illegal Things news: Nicki Minaj‘s boyfriend, Kenneth Petty (who loves Nicki so much she’s tattooed on his neck), has got in trouble with the law for driving with a suspended license. This isn’t new for Kenneth, who has quite the shady past with illegal activity, but in comparison to the other things he’s been accused of (and served prison time for) this is small potatoes. Like, micro potatoes. This is hash brown fluff. This is nothing.

TMZ reports that Kenneth done got himself in trouble. If you’ve forgotten Kenneth’s past with the law, let me remind you. The 41-year-old previously has served prison time for manslaughter, and is also a registered sex offender in New York because of that time he allegedly held a knife to a 16-year-old and tried raping her. What a winner. Nicki has of course defended her man, explaining that he was only 15 when he tried to rape a 16-year-old girl so it’s not that bad, guys! She’s known him since they were kids and she’s ready to defend him and also breed with him… yikes. And she’s called him her “husband” before too… double yikes. Well it looks like Nicki is going to have to pay for a lot of Ubers for her “husband” because Kenneth has driver’s license problems.

Kenneth recently pled guilty to “aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle” which is the least-bad charge he’s ever received with the word “aggravated” in it. Police say that Kenneth was caught blowing through a stop sign around 1:30 in the morning on September 13th on Long Island. He got pulled over and the police realized he had a suspended license. What will Kenneth have to do in order to get out of this legal bind? He’ll have to ask Nicki for $88 to pay fines and clear his license. Hopefully Kenneth keeps his nose clean and doesn’t break any more laws in New York or anywhere else. Fines can add up, sis. And lets be real: Nicki won’t be able to keep paying these $88 tickets if her shows keep getting cancelled.
