Duchess Meghan’s Aide Is Leaving Her After The Royal Baby Is Born

People is reporting that another one has bitten the dust. Not only has Duchess Meghan driven palace staff wild with her crazy before-dawn e-mails and has run off her bodyguard, she now is losing another aide who will leave as soon as Prince George’s cousin (yes, that will be the baby’s official title) is born.
Despite all that attempted good press the royals have been trying to generate around Meghan, it seems that the shady stories always come out. People is reporting that “trusted aide” Amy Pickerill has dropped off her resignation letter with the HR department of Kensington Palace. But don’t worry, sources are saying that the parting is “amicable.”
“They will stay in touch and Amy will remain as a personal adviser to her in the longer term. They are very close… It is very amicable.”
Prince Harry and the Duchess Meghan are still hoping to move into their newly renovated Frogmore Cottage before the baby is born, but Amy sure as hell won’t be going with them. She plans on moving abroad after leaving her job as assistant private secretary. A source says: “They have worked together for a while now and are close.”
Apparently Amy has been “instrumental in helping the duchess adjust to her new life in the U.K.,” so it’s going to be sad to see one of the OGs pack up their things and leave. She was Meghan’s first dedicated palace staffer and helped her set up the charity cookbook, Together: Our Community Cookbook, which Meghan was a part of. They were together at the International Women’s Day event in London last Friday and Amy will also be with Meghan at Commonwealth events in London today. So Amy is working up until Meghan’s water breaks and she shrieks for an assistant secretary’s help.
Also leaving Meghan and Harry’s employ is Samantha Cohen who has been the couples private secretary/chief of staff since last summer. Cohen is planning on leaving when a replacement is found, but so far one has not, so she may be still working for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex until late 2019. Looks like there are a few job openings at the Palace, huh? Time for Samantha Markle to put on a wig and try out for one of Meghan’s secretary positions. Anything to get close to your darling sister, right Samantha?
