Nick Jonas Reveals How He Really Felt About All Of His Weddings On New Episode Of “Carpool Karaoke”
Remember that time not too long ago when Priyanka Chopra-Jonas and Nick Jonas went on an international tour and called that shit a wedding? Well, Nick has admitted that Priyanka was doing too much and he wasn’t into any of it, especially once all of those wedding-related purchases began chipping away at his bank account like wage garnishment on pay day.
On a recent episode of James Corden‘s Carpool Karaoke Nick, along with his brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas, were riding along discussing their upcoming reunion tour. They talked about what made them come together after so many years apart. Nick replied:
“Basically about a year ago we started talking about making a documentary together. That was like the start. Just to tell our story. Childhood into our career together. And in that process we did some very necessary healing. Because when things ended it wasn’t the best.”
Nick revealed that those conversations led to a very much needed reconciliation which turned into them toying around with the idea of touring once again. As touching as that answer was, James was probably thinking, “Yeah, whatever Hanson 2.0. I want the REAL dirt!” So he pulled over and picked up a man named John who joined their joyride with a lie detector machine.
People reports that the lie detector test proved there were still a few unresolved issues on the table I’m sure they’ll address during the tour. That is, if there will even be one after James tried it with his fangirl meddling. However, the shining moment came when James asked Nick about the mini-series of weddings known as The Priyanka & Nick Show. I guess Nick wants us to believe that Amazon didn’t front the entire bill.
When it was Nick’s turn, the 26-year-old singer sat motionlessly and stared straight ahead as Corden jokingly asked, “Was there a point during your many weddings that you thought, ‘I’m done with these weddings?’”
After sitting silently for a moment with his eyes closed, Nick took a deep breath and quietly admitted, “Yes.”
Once it was determined that he told the truth, Nick giggled and hilariously added, “It was when I looked at the bill!”
Another funny moment came when Joe was asked if any of his brothers’ wives get on his nerves and he said no, which the lie detector determined was a big fat lie. And Nick’s terrified expression may as well have been followed by him screaming, “CUT! Don’t answer that shit bro.” It’s all starting to make sense now. They’re not going on tour again because they miss playing with each other. This tour is a Rent Party for Nick and Priyanka since she burned through all of his savings for their two million weddings and now they need a little help with the bills. And if I was Nick, I would make Priyanka sell t-shirts or work the concession stand at each show.
