Heidi Montag From “The Hills” Doesn’t Understand The Concept Of Diversity

On the original The Hills from the early-2000s, there weren’t many people of color on the show and the people of color were usually the usual cast members with a fake tan. The reboot, that is coming out this April and stars some of the originals, is no different. Heidi Montag, was asked about that and she got dragged for her sad, dumb, and laughable answer.

Now before we begin, let me just inform you that I LOVE a good dragging, especially when the person who made the comment is either oblivious or just stupid as hell. I’ll take the latter in this situation because Heidi Montag. The Hills: New Beginnings will terrorize us all with updates on the lives of bitches we’d long left in the past like Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, Stephanie Pratt and actress turned train wreck Mischa Barton. Of course my first question was,”Why the fuck are they doing this?” Because messiness + dum dums = RATINGS! Especially if Heidi is on every episode because her idea of diversity works better for a Pantene ad than the real world. In an interview with Vogue the following is the best answer Heidi could burp from her lips when basically asked “Why is this show so damn white?

Just in case you couldn’t get past Heidi’s dead Cookie Monster fur wrap in the video, here’s what she said:

“We don’t all look the same. I mean Audrina has darker hair. I feel like Mischa has darker hair. But yeah, we’re California girls and it’s a group of friends and that just happens to be the group that came together. But, that’s just the way the show was. I have other very diverse friends that are not featured on the show.”

Oh Heidi. You know what, I’m not even mad at you because at least you were telling the truth. Mischa and Audrina do indeed have darker blond hair. Look at their oh-so-darker hair on the cover of Cosmo:

I had the hardest time listening to what she was saying with those two eerie ass portraits of her and her supreme douche-lord husband Spencer Pratt killing my soul with their creepy gazes. And Twitter is reacting to Heidi’s comments, as they should because she sounds crazy.

I have absolutely no desire to watch this mess, but I might just to see if Heidi does something sillier than this interview like dying her hair red then telling everyone she’s solved the diversity problem because she’s Irish now.
