Pete Davidson Kicked A Heckler Out Of His Show For Making A Mac Miller Joke

Pete Davidson is not here for any bad jokes at his shows unless he’s the one telling them, which he proved this past Monday night in New Jersey. The past few months have been pretty dramatic for Pete, mainly because of his break-up with singing Keebler elf Ariana Grande so his nerves are probably still on 100 after dealing with that.

TMZ reports that during his set at the South Orange Performance Arts Center, Pete set up a joke that begins with the words “My friend died in my apartment,” and that’s when someone in the audience decided they wanted to be a part of the act as well and shouted out “Mac Miller?”, who was also Ariana’s ex and died from a drug overdose last September. That’s when Pete turned into Velma from Scooby Doo and asked the audience to help unmask the heckler.

Pete refused to continue with the show, saying “I will not continue until that kid’s gone..I’ll leave, so if you want the show to continue call out the person who did it. Get him the fuck out. Give his money back and get him the fuck out. I don’t deal with that shit at my shows.” TMZ posted the audio from the moment and this is truly one time when the quote “teamwork makes the dream work” applies 100%.

Once the heckler was kindly shown the door, Pete shook it off and continued with the show. Pete needs all the money he can get to continue to erase his Ariana Grande tattoos, so the good news for him is that the heckler probably didn’t go to the box office to try to get a refund. Because the heckler was too dumbfounded about the fact that he just got kicked out of a Pete Davidson show for making a tacky joke that didn’t make sense.
