Michael Avenatti Says He Received A Previously Unseen Tape Of R. Kelly Sexually Assaulting A Minor
Michael Avenatti wasn’t able to land his big game fish, Donald Trump (bottom feeding flat fish can grow quite big, don’t ya know), but apparently he’s had his sights set on easier prey too. Michael announced that he’s been in possession of a previously unseen tape of Robert Sylvester Kelly engaging in “multiple sexual assaults of a girl underage”. According to Michael, he’s been representing “multiple clients” with allegations of sexual assault against Robert since April of 2018, and has been doing so pro bono because he cares deeply about “young African-American girls”. I’m sure his involvement had nothing at all to do with sidling up to the white-hot spotlight R. Kelly’s been living under since, I don’t know, about April of 2018. But regardless of his motives, it sounds like Michael may have found a smoking gun, and has turned it over to the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office.
According to CNN (who have reviewed the evidence), the VHS tape “lasts 42 minutes and 45 seconds, is clear and explicit” and both the “man” and the girl who appear in it, assert that she’s 14-years-old, multiple times.
There are two scenes on the video: one apparently in a living room and another in a bedroom. A naked man who appears to be R. Kelly is seen performing multiple sex acts with the girl. She is heard calling him “daddy” multiple times.
It is impossible to know her age just from the video. They both refer to her “14-year-old pussy.” Six times the girl refers to her genitalia as 14 years old.
At one point, the man asks the girl to urinate. After she does, he urinates on her.
What is on the video mirrors some of the alleged acts for which Kelly was arrested for child pornography in 2002, when he was 35, and then acquitted six years later.
Robert was acquitted because they couldn’t prove it was him on the previous tape. Apparently, Robert has a mole on his back that couldn’t quite be made out in the tape from his trial. However, CNN says they saw a “small mole” on “the man’s back” in the new tape. Michael’s client, a “whistleblower” who worked for Robert “for decades”, provided him with the tape. Here’s Michael’s statement about the new evidence.
In response to press inquiries, attached is a stmt regarding our work on the R. Kelly matter since April, including the discovery of new critical video evidence establishing his guilt. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that this predator is brought to justice. pic.twitter.com/D0dGFzgXlX

Robert’s attorney says he don’t know nothing about it and offered this rebuttal on Twitter.
Credit to Avenatti for moving his alleged fraud from the focus to my client. As we have said before, #RKelly, since being wrongly accused years ago, has always followed the law.

The “fraud” he’s referring to is likely related to Michael ceding control of his own law firm yesterday after his former partner accused him of having “concealed millions of dollars in legal fees from the court handling Eagan Avenatti’s bankruptcy and used some of the funds for personal compensation”. But hey, nobody’s perfect! If Michael Avenatti manages to facilitate the incarceration of Robert Sylvester Kelly, he’ll have really accomplished something wonderful. Too bad we’ll never, ever, hear the end of it.
