Kanye West Got Kenny G To Perform For Kim Kardashian On Valentine’s Day

It’s Valentine’s Day, a day meant to booze and binge eat home alone or spend triple the normal amount on a dinner at a mediocre steakhouse. Ain’t life grand?! Well, if you’re Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, it’s a day to go peak game-ho, and this year that means a private Kenny G concert in the living room.

Vulture served up a heaping pile of “WTF?” since I just assumed Kim’s soundtrack bounced between her own chipmunk voice and whatever Kanye forced her to listen to – not the musical snack of Kenny freaking G! If you can get past Kim and Kanye’s psychopath all-white living room, here’s Kenny G proving that a check is a check.

Kennny rocks out to “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” while Kim goes out of her way to subtly show how big her house is and how many drugstore roses Kanye’s assistant laid out for her in the candlelit room (at mid-day, so that’s also more bizarre than romantic). I was beginning to think Kenny was one patient MoFo because it looked like he had to stand around and look at Kim and Kanye’s barren walls while a sea of long-stem roses was placed all around him, but there was luckily a path for him to get the hell out of there once he saw the PayPal transfer from Kanye (or more likely Pimp Mama Kris) went through. Sigh, whatever. Kim gets Kenny G, but I have a heart-shaped 75-piece nugget platter to get to.
