Terry Crews Says That American Media Inc. Tried To Blackmail Him, Too
Does AMI have a blackmail department in their building? Maybe somewhere between human resources and accounting? Sounds like because, along with Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and crusading celebrity journalist Ronan Farrow, Terry Crews is claiming that The National Enquirer’s parent company tried to blackmail him, too.
In a tweet yesterday (via Page Six), Terry alleged that AMI and its CEO, Trump bootlicker David Pecker, tried to silence him in his lawsuit against his admitted sexual assailant, talent agent Adam Venit and the William Morris Endeavor Agency.
This same company, AMI, tried to silence me in my lawsuit against @wme and Adam Venit by fabricating stories of me with prostitutes— and even went so far as creating fake receipts.
I called their bluff by releasing their threats online. They blinked. https://t.co/S6lMZ5K6Tb

Terry Crews is referring to this tweet from 2011. American Media Inc. also owns Radar Online.
1 day after my @GMA interview, @radaronline threatened me w/ a false story abt me hiring 2 hookers at the 2015 Monte Carlo TV Festival.
It never went 2 press because it was a lie.
This was not a coincidence. I told u they were coming 4 me. I also told you I am ready. pic.twitter.com/vqLAUknUiO

As for the other accusations, Ronan Farrow says that he and one another unnamed journalist received blackmail threats for investigating AMI’s admitted policy of buying negative stories about POTUS in order to kill them because CEO Pecker has Trump’s pecker in his mouth, metaphorically speaking.
Jeff Bezos says that he began his own investigation of AMI after AMI tabloid The National Enquirer broke the story about his extramarital affair. That’s when they reportedly sent him a laundry list of photos they claimed to have of him and his penis (and his alleged mistress turned current girlfriend Lauren Sánchez) in various states of undress in an alleged attempt to get him to back off.
As for Terry Crews, he went public with accusations against (now-former) William Morris Agency exec Adam Venit for groping him without his consent and against William Morris Endeavor for refusing to fire him in 2017. (via Pedestrian)
“I brought out a letter that [Emanuel] wrote in 2011 which demanded that Mel Gibson be blacklisted from Hollywood for anti-Semitic remarks. I took that letter, crossed out ‘Mel Gibson’, put ‘Adam Venit’, crossed out ‘anti-Semitic remarks’, put ‘sexual assault’, I said, ‘Read that letter. Now you know what you gotta do.’ He said, ‘It’s different’.”
All of the seedy people in this story (aka AMI and its publications) need that slap that Terry Crews offered to give D.L Hugley the other day.
