JWoww’s Estranged Husband Roger Mathews Is Challenging Their Prenup And Wants Child Support
I miss the days when I used to see JWoww (government name: Jenni Farley) and her BFF Snooki (government name: Smurfette) drinking and falling over each other back when Jersey Shore was my go-to guilty pleasure. But then they grew up and had families, which should have been their happy ending. This is not the case for JWoww, whose marriage to juiced-up dingleberry Roger Mathews has been on a downward spiral for a while. First JWoww filed for divorce, then she let everyone know that Roger doesn’t adhere to the rule that you’re not supposed to get physical with your spouse. Now, in an unsurprising twist, Roger is contesting their prenup and requesting child support.
Court documents obtained by The Blast report that Roger wants to add a quarter cup of Really Bitch? to his and JWoww’s shit stew of a relationship by answering her initial petition for divorce from September with a petition of his own last month. Roger must be getting nervous that the JWoww money train is about to let him off at the next stop. I’m guessing he’s hoping that their prenup doesn’t make an appearance during the proceedings informing him he’ll be walking away with only pockets full of lint and a sad face. Then, in a request directly copied and pasted from JWoww’s petition, he’s also seeking child support and alimony.
Mathews is requesting primary physical custody and joint legal custody of the couple’s two children. He’s also asking the court to determine a custody schedule that is “in the children’s best interest.”
He’s also requesting monthly child support and alimony from JWoww, and is challenging the couple’s prenuptial agreement. It’s unclear what the terms of the reality stars’ prenup were, but Mathews wants a judge to find it “invalid and unenforceable.”
In response JWoww is requesting that the prenup stay in tact, and rightfully so because what the hell else does Roger do for money except JWoww? Drafting a prenup for their marriage was one of the best decisions she’s ever made (after starring on Jersey Shore, of course). For her part JWoww wants primary physical custody of their children Meilani and Greyson as well as granting Roger visitation rights and the opportunity to pay her child support. Custody battles can get really messy and this one is coming out the gate with accusations and money grabs from both sides.
Well, I guess when Roger heard the show’s classy catchphrase DTF, for him it meant Down To Finance.
