Royal Staffers Are Watching Online Trolls Like Hawks When It Comes To Duchesses Kate And Meghan

If you’re planning on commenting on Kensington Palace’s photos of Duchess Kate and Duchess Meghan with mean shit like “Forever 21 called…it wants its pea coat back” or “Who is going to push the other in a puddle first?!” (and I know you are, Duchess Camilla), watch your back. Big (Royal) Brother is watching your ass.

After months of endless reports that Meghan and Kate loathe each other and how Prince Harry and Prince William would rather go driving with Prince Philip than be in the same room together, royal handlers have had enough – especially with the commoner brides. The royal palace is monitoring their social media just to make sure you aren’t posting petty shit to ruin their posts of shaking hands and Meghan holding her baby bump.

People says Kensington Palace staff spend hours poring over all the negative comments that come in online about Kate and Meghan. Poor things, they’re already being terrorized at sunrise with notes from Meghan looking for new ways to breech royal protocol that day, and now they have scrub away all the mean shit people are saying about those two?! A source gave further intel on what’s going on:

“The Palace has always monitored comments, but it’s a hugely time consuming thing. They can block certain words, but some of it is quite serious. Over the course of last year, with hundreds of thousands of comments, there were two or three that were violent threats. You can delete and report and block people and the police have options around particular people. It’s something you have to manage because there’s no other way to control it.”

Another source said hours upon hours are even being spent reviewing old material and comments that typically break out between Meghan and Kate supporters. Well ,they must not be that great at their job or this site would have been shut down months ago!

Hello! Magazine has noticed a lot of it on their site and even shut down the comments section where people were likely arguing over who had a more fug haircut or nail polish. A source had more to say:

“It follows a Kate vs Meghan narrative and some of the worst stuff is between Kate fans and Meghan fans.Arguments about who looks more appropriate, for example, that turn into personal attacks on other users. It’s creating a supercharged atmosphere and everyone can join in, but what are the consequences of this?”

Hello! royals reporter Emily Nash said the whole thing is very sexist because nobody is ever saying shit about how Will and Harry look. Again, I guess they’ve never moseyed over to the thirst and peen-lust pit that is DListed. Their loss!
