Christina Aguilera Is Doing A Las Vegas Residency

January 29, 2019 / Posted by:

I guess when Christina Aguilera heard about Cardi B’s upcoming residency in Las Vegas, she figured it was time to break out her leftover wigs and bustiers from Burlesque to shimmy on down to Sin City for her own show. However, it’s also for a very good reason as well because 2019 marks the 20th anniversary of the first time Christina told us to rub on her bottle to unleash the spell of gritty vocals and pancake flat ass twerking onto the world.

ET Canada reports that starting on May 31 at Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood Las Vegas, Xtina will yell at the top of her lungs while belting out some of her hits. Christina took to Instagram to commemorate the new show, titled The Xperience, with a photo featuring her face covered in either Party City rhinestones or glittery unicorn jizz.

Now, I will only go to this show if she wears this mask and sings the theme song to Jem during every performance because she’s giving me Showtime Synergy! realness is this picture. Tickets go on sale this weekend, so now that the government is open once again y’all can spend your income tax money on a trip to Vegas in early June. And I’m not sure if Christina was trying to be secretive about this upcoming engagement at Planet Hollywood or not but if she was it was an epic failure.

Fans caught a slip-up from Xtina’s team on her official website when 16 new tour dates appeared at Zappos Theater – the same venue where Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez performed and where Gwen Stefani’s show is currently at – in Vegas this summer. Her team labelled the new dates as a continuation of her “Liberation Tour”.

Planet Hollywood also tweeted a welcome message for their newest (maybe) money maker:

Xtina also planned on making a huge announcement with ever-ready fan boy Andy Cohen during Watch What Happens Live this Thursday, but at this point, since we all know what she’s going to say. Perhaps she should skip the announcement during the interview and give people a tutorial on how to recreate that Lady Gaga/Transformers mashup mask to wear at her shows in Vegas.
