Two Chinese Companies Are Offering “Dating Leave” To Female Employees Over 30

Two Chinese companies are playing matchmaker for their female employees as they are allowing all single females over the age of 30 more vacation time so they can “go home and date”The Telegraph is reporting that the female workers at a Song dynasty-themed tourist attraction are going to be able to take extra time off during the Lunar New Year holiday which lasts a week to go out and get yourself off old ass maid status.

A human resource person in China said:

“Female employees mostly work in internal functional departments, and some are show performers… They have less contact with the outside world; thus we hope to give more leave to them to give them more time and opportunities to be in contact with the opposite sex.”

The move is being linked to a growing trend in China for women to stay single as they can pay their own bills, feed their own faces, and don’t want no babies. Same, sis… well, minus the economic freedom.

Single women in China in their late twenties and early thirties are apparently considered “leftover women”, which I guess they think is different from other cultures? Surprise China: the whole world hates older women (thirty is older, ask Leonardo Di Caprio). This is because of long-held traditional beliefs that women who don’t get married off by that age are “undesirable”. But now because of China’s economic growth, the sisters are doing it for themselves!

A recent survey done by LinkedIn China and L’Oreal China found that 80 per cent of female respondents who were born after 1995 described themselves as “economically independent, able and cool” with the remainder saying they were a “loving wife and mother.” I love how wife and mother doesn’t include the word cool. Yuck, kids. They make you stay sober 18 years.

According to the Ministry of Civil Affairs, marriage rates in China have fallen every year since 2013, and despite the abolition of the one-child policy, the population rates are slowing. So maybe these companies are trying to get the boom-boom started in the bedroom with these dating incentives? Be sure to hand out lube at the next morning meeting.

Another place doing this is a high school in Hangzhou who enacted a new policy giving single, stressed-out teachers an additional two days off every month for “love leave”. The goal is to relax staff and boost morale. Michae K, this is a good time to tell you I’m taking the rest of the week off to get laid.

I don’t know why they’re bothering, these people will never come back to work. We all know that true love died the day Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson broke up.
