After Being Released From Police Custody, Chris Brown Says He Plans To Sue His Accuser For Defamation
Normally whenever there’s a story about Chris Brown basically being accused of doing some Chris Brown shit, the consensus is “Yeah, he did it“. Yesterday, he and two members of his entourage detained in Paris based on rape allegations from a 24-year-old woman. Authorities reportedly had 2 days to investigate and decide whether or not to press charges. If charges were filed, Chris would either stay in police custody or be released but have to stay in France until his trial. Authorities released Chris before the 2 days were up and are allowing him to leave France.
I’m sure when he was released he heard the winners theme from The Price Is Right in his head while strolling down the streets toward freedom. And hopefully the price won’t break his accuser’s pockets too much because Chris is planning on suing her for defamation.
In a statement about the charges, TMZ reports that Chris’ Parisian lawyer Raphael Chiche (which sounds like a high end retailer of sex toys for fancy folks) is ready to file a lawsuit.
“Chris Brown is free. No lawsuits were filed against him. He vigorously challenges the charges against him. A complaint for slanderous denunciation will be filed tomorrow with the public prosecutor of Paris.”
Chris claims that he was surrounded by friends playing music from his iPhone during the time his accuser claims she was raped. He also claims that he wasn’t even in the same room with her. Currently the investigation is still pending yet Chris wasted no time in voicing his opinion about the allegations. According to E! News, in a since deleted social media post, Chris went all the way off on his accuser using the always classy Kanye West method of using ALL CAPS SO YOU KNOW I’M PISSED THE FUCK OFF!
“I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP! NNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!” he captioned a photo that read, “THIS B–CH LYIN.'”
Well, Chris still has a pending court case for another alleged rape and did face more legal drama in December involving a damn monkey. Now, if this was someone else you’d probably think that was strange but since this is Chris anything is possible.
