Chris Hansen Got Arrested For Writing Bad Checks

Looks like noted pedo catcher Chris Hansen is having a little case of The Shoe Being On The Other Foot, but thankfully it’s like halfway on because yes: Chris was arrested. But! It had nothing to do with underage children. Phewf! Instead it was just a classic case of Rich Guy No Longer Has As Much Money As He Used To. Pour one out for Chris Hansen’s bank account.

TMZ is reporting that the predator-catching business is not what it used to be, at least for Chris. On Monday Chris was arrested in Stamford, Connecticut for the crime of larceny. What had happened was, Chris bought $12,998.05 worth of stuff he was planning to use for marketing purposes–355 mugs, 288 t-shirts and 650 vinyl decals–from a family-owned business. The items were all delivered to Chris, but he never paid up. This was back in 2017.

Chris gave the company a check for his outstanding bill but that shit bounced harder than a basketball dribbled by Lebron James (I can do sports references too!). Chris allegedly tried to make 4 partial payments, but the owner was not about it, so Chris gave him another check. Guess what happened to that check? Bounced!

Chris sent emails to the owner saying he was going to sell his boat to cover the cost but no cashable check ever showed up. You know what did show up? A warrant for Chris’ arrest. Chris turned himself in, not wanting to be the one who walks into their kitchen only to be surprised with news of police waiting for them outside. He was booked and released, and TMZ has reached out to him and I’m sure he will get back to them promptly with a full rundown of his embarrassing money issues.

Poor Chris, hopefully he doesn’t end up in jail for this: I have a feeling there are a couple of folks there who would not be happy to see him again… And in an office somewhere, Chris Hansen’s “accountant” has pulled off his human mask and is laughing while revealing himself to be PedoBear.
