Soulja Boy Dragged A Bunch Of Rappers During His Interview On “The Breakfast Club”

Call me naive but I still think of Soulja Boy as the little young boy who used to superman that hoe with his infectious song “Crank That“. However, that was over a decade ago and now he looks more like the fanciest neighborhood fiend draped in costume jewelry. When I first saw him during his appearance on The Breakfast Club I asked myself “Flavor Flav is still booking interviews?” And that was the first of many questions to enter my mind over the course of the next fifty-four minutes as Soulja Boy started saying a whole bunch of things you can’t tell me weren’t sponsored by the words “drugs“, “drama” and “lies“.

All Hip Hop reports that Soulja Boy went on a tirade during the show where he gave his thoughts on Kanye West, 6ix9ine and Drake. Host Charlamagne tha God knew exactly how to bring out the best in Soulja Boy, as he does with most guests, by reminding him that his recent downfall was brought upon by his own doing and wondering exactly what he meant by having a “comeback” comparing him to fellow rapper Tyga, who was the real MVP of comebacks in 2018. It was at that moment Soulja Boy turned his swag all the way up to “The Fuck?” mode and everything pretty much went south after that. He began stammering through his answers and let off expletive laden explanations about how all the other rappers are mere sad imitations of his impeccable genius. And you can tell he’s very much “Bitter, party of one” about the trauma he endured when he first got into the game.

“When I first came in I got it the worse though. I got it the worse though. From Ice T. From Snoop Dogg. From all the OG’s was like “What is this bullshit?” “What is he doing?” Now look at everybody? They love the new generation. I had to take them bullets”

And he was in no mood to bite his tongue either as he had time to spill all kinds of tea about beefs with Chris Brown and Migos as well as defending himself when Charlamagne decided it was time to go over some of his most famous lies. But the true shining moment of this interview was during the times he brought all the smoke to Kanye:

You look lame. You look cap. Real street n*ggas, young kids like me, and the generation looking at you like you goofy. You up here supporting Trump and shit. You supporting Trump? What the fuck wrong with you? That shit not right. I done sat back long enough. I’m not holding my tongue no more. Kanye, call me. Get in tune with me ’cause if not, I’m gonna keep checking you. You need to stop supporting Trump. That’s cap. That’s not right. My folks went through too much shit for you to be out here doing this goofy shit… You gotta put on for the black community. You too famous, your voice too big. Don’t do that sh*t…

And 6ix9ine:

6ix9ine is nothing but a Soulja Boy child. He got all that sh*t from me when I was beefing with Chris Brown, Migos, Shia LaBeouf, and everybody in the industry. 6ix9ine just came out and did the same thing I did. Now he sitting in jail looking crazy… I thought he knew what he was doing. I’m gonna leave it at that. I ain’t gonna speak too much on him because it’s delicate, so free 6ix9ine. I would never wish on no man to go to jail… At the same time, I’m not impressed because all you did was what I did, but you ain’t even do it right ’cause you in jail right now.

And finally, everyone’s favorite target, Drake:

Aubrey Graham in the wheelchair? Drake?! Y’all n*ggas better stop playing with me in here. Y’all talking about the light-skinned n*gga from “Degenerous”? Stop playing with me like I didn’t teach Drake everything he know. You didn’t hear Drake on his first song – [singing] “Tell me what’s really going on. Drizzy Drake back in this thing. I’m ready. What’s happenin’?” That’s Soulja! That’s my bar! He copied my whole fucking flow! Word-for-word! Bar-for-bar! Don’t act like I didn’t make Drake.

And since he’s the type of cat that likes to pull out receipts he posted this to his Instagram so people would know he’s not entirely crazy.

PLEASE, do yourself a favor and watch this train wreck of an interview, even if you don’t know who half the motherfuckers he’s talking about are.
