Ewan McGregor’s Daughter Is Still Salty About Her Parents’ Split
I guess it’s natural for kids to pick a side after their parents divorce. Ewan McGregor’s 22-year-old daughter Clara McGregor made her allegiance to her mom abundantly clear when she dragged her dad’s alleged mistress to hell and back on Instagram. Clara is 100% team “Moulin Rouge was overrated and I hate you dad”. Clara previously walked back some rude things she said about her pop’s tart, but I guess it’s open season on dad now because she just called him an “asshole” on Instagram. Kids, they’re so ungrateful! You give them your name, and they shit all over it!
If you’ll recall, Ewan and Clara’s mom, Eve Mavrakis, are divorcing after 22 years. Their split reportedly had to do with Eve finding out that Ewan had been sticking his McGregor in his Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Mary didn’t like it when she got slapped with the “homewrecker” label and dumped him. But I guess she just couldn’t get enough of that hot haggis loaf because she took him back. Clara didn’t take that news too well and lashed out, calling Mary “Pure. Trash.” and a “scumbag”. I’d tip my tam to her for that (I love a messy read), but she eventually took it back. Now she’s going in on dad.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Clara posted a picture of her mom lounging beach side with the comment “my mother, ladies & gentlemen • 50 is the new 30 apparently”. When a fan replied, “Keep her away from your boyfriends,” Clara responded, “I keep her away from asshole men who leave my goddess of a mother.”
If she really wanted to stick it to the man/asshole men, she’d change her last name to Mavrakis but I don’t see her taking that drastic a step. In case you didn’t know, Clara is a model/actress/photographer/filmmaker. Her goddess of a mom may have been in the business (she was a production designer), but I’d bet it’s the McGregor name that nudged the door open for her. He may be an asshole, but he’s her asshole for keeps. My advice, channel that rage. Turn it into art!
