Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Might Announce Their Engagement “Soon”

Someone might need to put out a casting call for the world’s first banjo-pluckin’, Mohawk-wearin’ ska wedding band because the Houses of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani appear to be inching closer to engagement. Those two were love at first hard-working publicity stunt sight during their time on The Voice, but they’ve kept at it since 2015. Snitches are saying they’re so serious that Blake is going to put a ring on it any day now. Ah, well, Miranda Lambert. At least you’ll find a way to turn this into an album for yourself.

UsWeekly heard from a source close to the couple, which I’m sure is a mouthy cow on one of Blake’s farms. Or one of the Harajuku girls. The snitch says wedding bells are expected soon and that Gwen is who has been mandating that they take things slow:

“Blake has always wanted to marry Gwen, but she’s always been extremely cautious because she has three kids to be mindful

Gossip Cop says this story is not true, UsWeekly’s source says that Gwen didn’t want to rush or force anything on the three kids she has with Gavin Rossdale. I mean, that never kept Gavin from cheating on Gwen back in the day, so I guess we know which of those two is gunning for the Favorite Parent award. Anyway, Gwen already told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show that she thinks about marrying Blake all the time, and it’s been reported she and Blake have explored having a baby through a surrogate. I just hope they put a whiplash warning to guests before they open their wedding registry, which I imagine will be comprised of fishing poles, kegs of beer, and the entire spring collection from Hot Topic.
