Hot Slut Of The Day!

The golden Lucky license plate from Honeycomb in the 1980s!

Honeycomb cereal never did anything for me. It’s like “meh” on my tongue (“That’s the exact review I’d give about kissing you.” – my exes). But what really made Honeycomb a hot bitch in the cereal section was its license plate giveaway in the 1980s. In specially marked boxes (Note to self: Make SpeciallyMarkedBox my next Grindr username) of Honeycomb, were miniature state license plates that I’m guessing were made by convicted child felons in a prison yard. And in one out of 620,000 boxes, there was a special prize. Sometimes the special prize was a trip, and sometimes it was a whole bike!

In 1984, Honeycomb gave away BMX bikes, and you won one by pulling out a lucky golden tiny license plate out of a cereal box. Yeah, that “gold license plate” is more like the color of piss from a dehydrated trick, but who cares. You won a bike!

Who knew that in the 1980s, Honeycomb shat all over Willy Wonka’s golden ticket contest. Sure, getting a golden ticket from Willy Wonka could lead to you inheriting his entire chocolate factory, but you had to deal with a bunch of piece of trash brats. To win a bike from Honeycomb, you just had to pull out a golden license plate.

I bet that many a kid in the 80s was arrested for opening up Honeycomb boxes in grocery store aisles to check for a golden license plate, and I also bet that when they were imprisoned for that crime, they had to make small license plates for Honeycomb.
