“Flip Or Flop” Host Cristina El Moussa Married “Wheeler Dealers” Host Ant Anstead

It’s a DIY reality television royalty marriage which will join real estate with classic car restoration and launch a new television empire called Flip or Flop With Cars! Take that, Chip and Joanna! People reports that Flip or Flop co-host Christina El Moussa married her hot British boyfriend of about a year, Wheeler Dealers host Ant Anstead, in a surprise “winter wonderland” ceremony at their home in Newport Beach, CA yesterday. Suffice to say, Christina’s Flip or Flop co-host and ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, wasn’t invited. This is good because Tarek packs heat and theme weddings have the potential to drive people over the edge with their preciousness.

Here’s the wedding pic of them, along with the credits, because what’s the point of having almost 1 million Instagram followers if you’re not going to use that fact to get wedding sponsors so you don’t have to pay for shit?

To pull this off, Christina and Ant put 70 of their family and friends on a bus that was supposed to be heading to the Newport Beach Christmas Parade but actually pulled up at their house to watch them get married. Am I the only person who would have rather gone to the parade? My reasoning is that parades are fun because you can secretly drink in public and throw shade at majorettes. A secret wedding means you’re going to feel all self-conscious because the bride and groom are beautifully dressed and coiffed and you have on your janky parade-goin’ jeans because they have the pocket big enough to hide your flask.

Under an altar in their front yard, the couple — who began dating in October 2017 — exchanged vows with their children close by.

“We wanted to make it about the kids,” says Anstead. “It’s the six of us. We’re a blended family so it was really important for them to be a part of it.”

Under an altar? Christina, 35, shares daughter Taylor, 8, and son Brayden, 3, with ex-husband Tarek, and Ant has daughter Amelie, 15, and son Archie, 1, from a previous marriage.

And that post title is probably the last time you’re going to see “Christina” and “El Moussa” together outside of the opening credits of Flip or Flop.

The bride notes that she’s officially changing her last name to her new husband’s. “It has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?” she says. “Christina Anstead. We couldn’t be any happier!”

The secret part of their secret wedding came close to being exposed due to a histrionic-sounding clerk down at town hall.

Still, there were a few close calls. “Every day we were checking the internet to see if anyone found out,” she says. “Then the day we went to get our marriage license, the guy working was like hyperventilating, excited. We had to tell him this is a huge secret. No one knows.”

It probably helped that Christina mentioned to said clerk that her ex has a gun and was looking to reduce his alimony payments and Christina could ask him to do a “favor” for her if the clerk didn’t keep his trap shut. Secret weddings aren’t easy to pull off and are probably super expensive so desperate times…
