Papoose Gave Remy Ma A $94,000 Escalade For Giving Birth (UPDATE)
There are a lot of things I absolutely hate about the Love and Hip Hop franchise ranging from the horrible dialog to the mountains of fake ass, titties and hair that clog up my television screen every Monday. But what I’ve always enjoyed is the relationship between real-life married couple Remy Ma and Papoose. Watching their interaction always restored a few of my brain cells for a while until bitches started throwing drinks on each other once again. Now after a few years with facing complications of trying to conceive a child Remy gave birth to a baby girl last Saturday and as a present Papoose gifted her with a $94,000 Cadillac Escalade Platinum.
During an appearance on Good Morning America back in November gap toothed sexiness Michael Strahan kindly asked Pap what his push present would be for Remy and he answered by saying that her gift would be going to their new bundle of joy (whose name they have yet to reveal, but affectionately refer to as the Golden Child). That’s when Remy hit him with a quick “The hell! I asked for a truck!” to which everyone had a great laugh. Then, in a post to his Instagram a few days ago Pap showed us all that he would have the last laugh when he surprised her with the Escalade.
Dayummm! Those Love and Hip Hop checks must be lovely. However, I was distracted by that heap of dead Fraggle fur draped around Remy’s shoulders while she squawked about her painful breasts. But anyway, the Escalade Platinum was fully loaded with everything Remy could ask for, including a cooler for the baby’s breast milk. Another reason why the gift was so special is because it commemorates the day Pap and Remy got married on television three years ago, though they’ve been together for ten years in total. And although I love their relationship I really hope nobody tries to copy this gesture because this type of ballin’ only works for reality celebrities. If you’re about to be a dad don’t be out here trying to buy your lady an Escalade when you can barely afford a Ford Escort.
UPDATE: TMZ says that Remy had to go to the hospital after suffering excessive bleeding, and has undergo emergency surgery. Because of that, Papoose better upgrade that Escalade.
