Lil Xan Was Detained By Palm Springs PD For Playing Loud Music At An Airbnb

Lil Xan lives a dangerous life. When he’s not inhaling near lethal amounts of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos dust, he’s trying his luck with the Palm Springs PD. According to TMZ, Lil Xan recently purchased a house in Redlands, CA and was planning to move in immediately after finishing a stint in an in-patient rehab facility he’d been at to try to get a handle on his opioid addiction. (Note: As I was finishing up this post, Lil Xan wiped his Instagram account clean. Hopefully that’s an indication that he’s taking his sobriety seriously. TMZ says that before he went to rehab, which he delayed, citing a mix-up with scheduling at the facility, he said he’s dropping the name Lil Xan, short for the Xanax he used to hustle, and going by his real name of Diego.)

When a pipe burst at his house in Redlands, Lil Xan and his “Xanarchy” crew were forced to look elsewhere for a place to lay their lousy beanies. So they took up residence in an Airbnb in Palm Springs.

Do you know what the good people of Palm Springs love more than year-round sun and mid-century architecture? If you guessed pulsating rap music at 10 AM on a Sunday, you’re an idiot and have just received a life-long membership in the Xanarchy. If you answered peace and fucking quiet, you’re absolutely right. Multiple neighbors called the cops to report the goings on at Xanarchy HQ.

Palm Springs PD showed up and detained Lil Xan and his pals. Insulted, incredulous, and reportedly afraid for his life, Lil Xan had the incident recorded and posted it to Instagram, in case shit went down I guess? Apparently he didn’t like the way the cops were touching their holsters while questioning him. And equally didn’t appreciate being profiled.

Here’s the brutal and ruthless Palm Springs PD giving this young man the full Rodney King treatment.

Can’t we all just get along? Can we give the kids of today the respect they deserve and offer them just a modicum of humanity? It sounds like Lil Xan and Xanarchy gave the property owner, the neighbors, and the police, several opportunities to ask them nicely to turn their music down before things escalated to the terrifying armed detention we see in the video. While the cops didn’t arrest anybody, they did cite Lil Xan and ask him to leave the property. What a travesty. #Justice4Xan

Xan still wasn’t able to go back to his new house because the water damage was so extensive it required a hole to be cut in the ceiling and the fireplace was ruined. With options for safe housing diminished, Xan was forced to take up residence at his other home in Los Angeles, where I’m sure the people will be totally okay with the Xanachary attacking ear drums with their music at 10 in the morning.
