Cardi B Says Her Break-Up With Offset Isn’t A Publicity Stunt
As we all know, Cardi B and Offset’s relationship has, apparently, come to an end. And I, for one, am shocked because I thought it would have ended way sooner than this. Go Love! However, unlike normal folks, whenever a celebrity couple breaks up they don’t turn to their friends to air out their grievances because where’s the fun in that? Instead, they turn to social media because the only real love they have is the love for attention. For instance, take Cardi’s recent verbal slapdown for the trolls and troglodytes who believe her relationship was faker than every ass in the Love and Hip Hop franchise.
Yesterday, Cardi took to Instagram Live and immediately proved to everyone that she doesn’t care about publicity by publicly speaking out on some shit that’s going on in her private life.
“I really don’t like how people say me and my husband—whatever he is right now to me—is doing it for publicity,” she said. “I wouldn’t put my family in a bad name for no f–king publicity, ’cause at the end of the day, ten years from now, my daughter, she’s gonna be looking at these type of things and she’s gonna be asking me about these type of things.”
I guess she told y’all! However she wasn’t done there. Cardi wanted to make sure all you hoes know the trajectory of she and Offset’s love and that she would never jeopardize her career just for some damn publicity.
“I’ve been seeing a lot of people say that my relationship was fake,” she continued. “Bitch, there’s certain things called love. People do fall in love. Like, my relationship was never fake. I met this n—a, he was on my ass, I gave him a chance and we fell in love with each other. Things was not always gravy, ’cause at the end of the day, we are two different people. But we never did anything for f–king publicity, bitch. You think I got f–king pregnant, could have ruined my career for f–king publicity?”
BARDI BREAKING: Cardi B makes her first statement about her upcoming divorce with Offset. Cardi says via ina-live that it wasn’t a publicity stunt bc “a kid is involved.”

The day before Cardi tried to set the haters straight on Instagram Live, she rapped about her breakup while performing at Jingle Bash in Chicago:

And that’s not all. TMZ reports that Offset, who was caught mentioning another woman in a steamy text exchange with his alleged side piece Summer Bunni, has no interest in any other woman but Cardi.
Offset was desperately trying to save his marriage before Cardi made the announcement they were done. Even she acknowledged they’d been working on it “for a hot minute now.”
We’re told after the text messages about Cuban Doll surfaced, Offset tried to prove to his wife nothing came of the text exchange … and he wasn’t messing around with anyone.
Our sources say Offset feels his greatest challenge now is to regain his wife’s trust — which feels impossible to him because haters keep filling Cardi’s social media posts with negativity about him.
All of this sounds like a very bad lie detector test segment on Maury starring some really famous people with names that sound like villains from a Marvel movie. And just like any good Marvel movie, this shit will probably drag on forever with multiple sequels.
