Nick Cannon Played Captain Save-A-Ho For Kevin Hart By Dragging Female Comedians Into It

Shrieky comedian Kevin Hart was dropped out as the 2019 Oscar host because he refused to apologize for some homophobic tweets from his past that came back up (not to mention how he refused to say he was wrong for his son’s cowboys and Indians-themed birthday party). The Academy told Kevin to acknowledge and apologize for the tweets or get the fuck out. Kevin refused, saying he had already addressed the tweets in the past. So Kevin got the fuck out, and then apologized. Maybe he didn’t want to jeopardize a future Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards hosting gig. Kevin’s friend, the extra extra extra Nick Cannon, came to his defense by posting past tweets from several well-known female comedians that used the f-bomb and subtly suggested that Hollywood is full of hypocrisy. Well, DUH.

According to People, Nick donned his investigatin’ cyber crimes turban on Friday night, and dragged Amy Schumer, Chelsea Handler, and Sarah Silverman into it. He re-tweeted a Chelsea Handler tweet from 2010:

Chelsea is soaked in vodka so she’ll say anything. What’s intriguing here is which bird she’s talking about. The pic she used is unavailable for view. Hopefully, she didn’t fully embrace the stereotype and go with a flamingo or a gaily-colored parrot.

And this Sarah Silverman one from 2010:

Sarah, by the way, has addressed some of her shit from her past routines and offered a nasally-voiced mea culpa. (Although she still seems to be unsure whether her buddy Louie CK should have gotten so much flack for forcing women, including her, to watch him jack off.)

Speaking about her past mistakes, Silverman recently told The Guardian, “All I can do is learn from it, be changed forever by it, and do what I can to make it right going forward.”

“Certainly stuff that I did 10 or 15 years ago, I cringe at now,” she continued, adding that she now sees the jokes “very differently.”

Cannon next unearthed a 20120 tweet of Amy Schumer’s who should not only be glared at for using a homophobic slur but should also receive a snarl for hating on Skyfall. That was one of the better Bond films. It had an Adele song, baddest bitch Judi Dench set off explosives and Javier Bardem’s melty villain face was grotesque. Great flick.

A Twitter user asked Cannon to “audit” his own past tweets but, this is painful to say because he’s irritating, there’s no need.

In one tweet from 2010, Cannon wrote, “Honest question: why are we as Black men so homophobic?” In a 2012 message, Cannon remarked, “If your best joke includes ‘gay’ or ‘F—’ you should be kicked of [sic] Twitter this ain’t the 3d grade!”

Unless you’re a “***” yourself, you should keep that word out of your mouth. But Kevin Hart was talking about smashing things over his kid’s head if he dared to play with his sister’s dollhouse and saying some ugly shit. Sarah and Amy thought they were being edgy (FAIL), and Chelsea Handler’s a drunken sot who will probably say anything as long as the Tito’s is flowing. Who knows? What we do know is that Nick Cannon likes himself some attention. And Sarah, Amy, and Chelsea haven’t totally responded (Sarah did re-tweet a People article about this), but Amy did post a video of her puking into a toilet, so maybe that’s her response?

Or maybe she’s just trying to out-Lena Dunham Lena Dunham.
