Cardi B’s Busy Schedule Finally Allowed Her To Show Up For Court
It’s been a few months since Cardi B got in trouble for allegedly having two women jumped in a strip club. She did turn herself in for the crimes, not wanting to live a life on the run from the law. But then Cardi seemed to turn around and say “fuck it” when she did not show up to court this week. Her lawyer told the judge she was busy doing promo for “Money”. The judge was unimpressed and let Cardi’s lawyer know so, and so this time around Cardi decided she would put on her peasant-folk hat and go act like a regular person by going to court.
TMZ is reporting that Cardi B showed up on time for court and managed not to get a bench warrant issued for her arrest… for now. While she was making her way through the crowd of paparazzi waiting to see if she would make it, she said to them: “Am I this famous?”
Henny?! You li-ch-erally did not show up to court and your lawyer said it was because you was too busy and famous, and now you’re asking if you’re busy and famous? Stick to the script, boo!
In court, Cardi did not throw a shoe at the judge, but she did get a slap on the wrist. Prosecutors wanted the judge to set Cardi’s bail for $2,500, but she was released without bail because the judge didn’t think she was a flight risk.
The judge did give Cardi a few points to follow. Well really just one: she cannot have any contact at all with the bartenders, Baddie G and Jade. The judge reminded her that includes “making threats or comments on social media” so don’t hold your breath for any of her iconic video commentary on this one. Cardi will be back in court next month.
As for that cheating scandal which allegedly broke up Cardi and Offset, TMZ spoke with Cuban Doll and she claims she had no idea Offset was trying to get a threesome going with her and Instagram THOT Summer Bunni, and has never even spoke with him. Cuban Doll even said that Cardi B reached out to her and that they’re on good terms.
Ya, right. Cardi reached out to you because she knows to keep her friends close and her enemies closer. Why you think she’s showing up to court? She wants to know what the process is like for when she has to beatdown the next hoe.
