Jon And Kate Gosselin Will Fight For Custody Of Their Son In Court
Things are currently very nasty, as usual, between Jon and Kate Gosselin. They’re battling for custody over one of their eight kids, 14-year-old Collin Gosselin, and according to UsWeekly, they’re moving their fight into a courtroom.
Last year we learned that Jon and Kate got into a fight over their 14-year-old daughter Hannah during a trip to the dentist. They’ve fought over Hannah before, and now Hannah lives with Jon. Collin has been away from the family at a program for children with special needs. A source said that Collin’s special needs referred to behavioral issues, and that he used to question and “talk back” to Kate, which might have been the reason he entered the facility in the first place.
Kate didn’t want to give up custody of Collin so easily, and now they’re getting lawyers involved. A source says that Collin will be home for good from his inpatient program a few days before Christmas. Whether he’ll be hanging ornaments on Jon or Kate’s tree is up for debate. Jon has filed for full legal and physical custody of Collin, and believes it’s in Collin’s best interests to live with him. Kate has yet to comment publicly on what she wants, but since this is about to get messy in court, it’s most likely full legal and physical custody as well.
Sources tell Radar Online that Jon and Kate will square off in court on December 4th (how very Brangelina of them). Whether TLC’s camera crews will be there to capture the drama of a future TV special titled: Jon & Kate De-b8 Who Gets Custody is still up in the air.
Jon’s barber tells Radar that Collin came in to get his haircut recently, and that he looks really good. A Christmas tree farm employee tells Radar that Jon, his girlfriend, her kids, and Hannah and Collin all picked out a tree last weekend, and they all appeared to be “happy” and having a good time. A source tells In Touch that Jon has been having regular weekend visits with Collin at his facility.
So Jon is covered in the “terrific dad” leaking-source department. Very good everyone! But where are Kate’s sources bragging about how great she is? Surely there’s a Coach Outlet employee who can come forward with a character witness. “Well, I saw Kate in here last week and she only loudly demanded to speak to the manager twice, so that’s something!”
