Jessie J Would Like People To Stop Saying She Looks Like Jenna Dewan
But which one wore Channing Tatum better? Former professional floor humper Channing and dancer/choreographer/actress Jenna Dewan split after nine years of marriage in September. Since then, Channing has begun mini-golfing with that woman who sings that bang bang into the room song? That’s her, right? Anyway, Jessie J recently read an article that claimed she’s practically face-twins with Channing’s ex. Whichever publication it was also asked readers to choose which one of them was prettier. Miss J (not the good one) wasn’t pleased and had something to say about it on Instagram.
First off, please know that Jessie doesn’t usually respond to articles such as this but this particular one stuck in her craw. And if something is stuck in her craw, how is she supposed to use her goddess voice to best every other singer in the game? That would be the game which you American fools better realize she’s winning!
I rarely, but sometimes see that my name is involved in stories online that I do not agree to. I often ignore them as 99% of the time it is something that doesn’t serve any positivity to speak on.
Jessie didn’t name Jenna but did throw her a compliment.
However there is a story I have seen be rewritten over and over again in the past few weeks that talks about myself compared directly to another beautiful woman regarding our looks and people picking who they think is prettier.
Jessie had questions.
I am here to talk about the headline and the way the story has been written, I have continuously tried to find something positive from this article… I am yet to. Who feels good from this story? Who does this story inspire? Is picking who is prettier and then continuing to say why a good activity for women to participate in? No.
She noted that this sort of article teaches young girls to hate themselves and compete against each other.
I am a woman that supports ALL women. I am a woman that loves ALL women and will not stand quietly when the media is teach young girls to constantly compare one another. Or to pick who they think is prettier,” she said.
There’s even more and you can read the whole thing below, if you want. Jenna herself was able to graciously agree with Jessie in a much shorter tweet. No catfights here, kids.
Beautiful message @JessieJ

This sounds like it might be one of those Goopy and Coldplay divorce situations where everybody gets along and supports their subsequent relationships and such. Blergh, that’s nice but boring and puts weekend gossip bloggers like me out of a job so thanks for that future pink slip, girls.
