Louis C.K.’s New Lady Friend Is A French Comedian

Louis C.K. went to France and they loved him so much that what was supposed to be a 20 minute set at a show in Paris called “New York Comedy Night”, turned into a 70-minute love-fest between him and the audience. It seems that Louis has found his people! Even better, Sarah Silverman is no longer the only lady who is super cool with a good old-fashioned surprise spunk spouting. According to Page Six, Louis has a new lady friend, a French comedian named Blanche Gardin.

During his set on Tuesday, Louis didn’t really get into his stateside troubles; he merely repeated his line about having “lost $35 million in an hour” and said something about having troubles “in the PR department”. What no Hitler joke in Paris, Louis? Coward. Instead, he went on to tell the audience that he was dating one of their own.

“I’ve been dating this woman, and she’s French,” C.K. told the audience, adding that “any shitty American is welcome” in France.

Louis and Blanche have been dating for at least a couple of weeks. They were photographed holding hands in New York City in October. He was probably taking her on a tour of all his favorite places to masturbate. “And over there, I stood in that very doorway and jerked it while talking to my mom on the phone!”. I hope Blanche was appropriately impressed.

Page Six says that Blanche has tackled #metoo/Times Up in her own comedy set. At the César Awards in March (the French equivalent to The Oscars, so kind of a big deal), she performed a routine wearing a huge button with Louis’ face on it and riffed on the new normal.

“From now on, it’s clear, producers are not allowed to rape actresses. [But] what is not clear, is do we, women, have the right to continue to sleep [with men] for roles? Because if not, well — we will have to learn our lines and go to auditions, and we don’t have the time, frankly,” she said during the awards show.

It’s not a bad bit. I’ll give her that. Here it is in French for you filthy foreigners.

She’s also wearing a white ribbon which represents the #NowWeAct (remember when hashtags were called pound signs and you only used them when you were trying to reach Carol in accounting’s extension?), a French movement which “represents solidarity in fighting violence against women”. The thing is, I don’t think whipping your dick out without permission carries quite the same weight in France as it does in America. I’ve seen more surprise pricks in a week in France than I have in a lifetime in the U.S. So Louis dating a French comedian make perfect sense.
