Anna Tew, the Alabama blossom who was so devoted to her zombie costume that she stuck fangs onto her real teeth with actual glue! Unwittingly, I should say.
The most gorgeous and charismatic being in the world Phoebe Price is from Alabama, so she’ll forever go down in American history as the pride of the Camellia state (which should really be renamed the Phoebe Price state since she should be the state flower). But another pride of Alabama was born when Anna Tew needed emergency dental help when she couldn’t get off the fangs she glued onto her tewfs.
Anna, who is a school bus driver in Mobile, told McClatchy News that she volunteered at a Halloween event on Friday night and did herself up as a zombie complete with $3 fake fangs she bought. Anna fixed the fangs to her teeth using the glue she says came with ’em. Anna didn’t know anything was wrong until a few hours later when she tried to take off the fangs to drink some water. The fangs wouldn’t come off no matter how hard she tugged at them. When she got home, she tried to get them off by drinking coffee, thinking that the hotness would melt the glue. Hot coffee was no match for them. She tried to sleep, but since she was living in a nightmare, she couldn’t and probably figured she’d have to quit her job (because she’d scare the kids) and would have to get a job as a Kristen Dunst impersonator.
After doing some Googling on Saturday morning, Anna made a CODE RED appointment with her dentist, who told her he might have to use a saw to get that crap off. Then he told her that he couldn’t numb her mouth, because he needed her to tell him if she was in pain. He didn’t want to rip off her real teeth. So he tugged and tugged and they finally came off. Anna’s dentist, Dr. John Murphy, said that sometimes your gums can “cause something to adhered and get stuck.”
While talking to WKRG-5, Anna said the words that many of John Mayer’s tricks have said before, “Never will I put anything like that back in my mouth.”
If the glue that came with those fake vampire meth teeth really did that to Anna, then I have a feeling a lawsuit is going to lead to her owning the company, and we’ll see Anna Tew’s Glueless Zombie Tewfs on store shelves next Halloween. But either way, Anna nearly bled for her zombie costume. That’s dedication and the actors on The Walking Dead could never!
