Rosie O’Donnell Is Engaged…But Her Fiancee Won’t Move In With Her

October 10, 2018 / Posted by:

The badge trumps the vag! 56-year-old Rosie O’Donnell got secret engaged over the summer to her 33-year-old Woostah (also known as Worcester), Massachusetts police officer girlfriend, Elizabeth Rooney. The two have kept it hush-hush until now because Elizabeth is a cop and tries keep details of her life involving Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s BFF on the DL since there’s nothing worse than trying to arrest someone who is like, “Hey, aren’t you the fuzz getting married to that ladywho quit The View twice?” Well, Liz-with-a-z’s job commitment might also be preventing the two from  shacking up in the same house. See? That U-Haul lesbian stereotype is false!

Radar says the age gap between Rosie and Elizabeth isn’t a big deal, and a source said even though Rosie has been married two times before, this seems legit:

“They’re very, very happy.I do believe that this will see its full life-term expectancy.”

This is what Elizabeth Rooney looks like if you’re wondering:

I’ve never heard “full life-term expectancy” used to describe a relationship, but that may just be because mine never get beyond the zygote phase. Officer Rooney has already met Rosie’s family, and a snitch says her big and endearing personality is what seems to be working to calm down the person who used to singe the wig off Barbara Walters and anyone else in her wake, but there is one little issue.

Radar is also reporting Elizabeth refuses to leave New England to move down to New York City to be with Rosie. She likes her job too much to go live under the same roof as her fiancée. Another snitch says they’re comfortable living apart, and Elizabeth is actually part of Worcester’s first mounted police force, so she doesn’t want to give up her trusted steed to go be a housewife and run lines from Sleepless In Seattle. I mean, I totally would, but that’s because “kept man” and “playing Meg Ryan” are two things I have firmly on my vision board. The snitch gave more details:

“Lyz has an amazing job. They don’t take a lot of equestrian police officers, so the fact that she was able to make the squad is incredibly important to her.”

That being said, it’s not like Worcester is THAT far from New York, and they do see each other on the weekends for some quality time and horsing around. Get it? OK, I’ll let myself out.
