Suge Knight Has Officially Been Sentenced To 28 Years In Prison

Suge Knight has finally been sentenced after taking a plea deal for his 2015 hit and run murder case. Since Suge has a tendency to surround himself with shady characters, I expected his legal team to pull a fast one with a forged doctor’s note saying he shouldn’t serve any longer than a week due to a chronic prison blanket allergy and/or debilitating toilet ghost phobia. But TMZ is reporting that he was sentenced to 28 years.

53-year-old Suge was in a Los Angeles court today for sentencing. Victim impact statements were read by the family of Terry Carter, the man Suge ran over with his truck on the set of the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton in 2015. Suge reportedly sat quietly without much emotion on his face.

After the hearing, the judge dropped 28 years on Suge, and he was taken away to an LA County Jail, where he’ll wait to be transported to prison. After Suge pled guilty, it was rumored he could face 28 years (as opposed to life), with three-and-a-half years deducted for time he already spent behind bars. Due to overcrowding, there’s a chance he could get out after serving a bit more than 10 years.

If the Devil hadn’t already reserved a bunk bed in Hell for Suge, this might seal the deal. Before he left the court room today, Suge turned to the gallery and stared uncomfortably at everyone for several seconds. Yiiiiiikes. Whoever is responsible for looking after Suge in custody before he heads to prison, take note: if he gives you puppy eyes and begs you for one last spin in his truck, be strong, drop the keys in a toilet, and flush like you’ve never flushed before.
