JWoww Is Getting Divorced From Her Husband Of Three Years

During the first season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation that aired earlier this year, The Situation proposed to his girlfriend Lauren Pesce (sadly, she did not replace “yes” with “it would be my honor to join you in this life-long situation” before fist pumping her ring in the air). Little did we know that among the clouds of romance and self-tanner spray spray, that while one marriage was beginning, another Jersey Shore marriage had ended.

According to People magazine, Jenni “JWoww” Farley filed for divorce from her husband of three years Roger Mathews on September 12, and listed irreconcilable differences as the reason. She claims in her divorce filing that their irreconcilable differences have caused a breakdown in their marriage over a period of at least six months, and that they’ve got no choice but to divorce. JWoww and Roger share two kids, 4-year-old Meilani Alexandra, and 2-year-old Greyson Valor.

As for what caused their split, it’s not known. But Roger himself might have given us a clue that it could have been his fault. Two days after JWoww filed for divorce, he posted the following on Instagram:

And he posted this video last night:

An inspirational, uplifting message containing the words “Stop being a pussy you pussy” is exactly the kind of self-help mantra I’d expect from someone from the Jersey Shore. I’m almost certain the duck phone has that tattooed on it’s right wing. But as for that claim that Roger plans on fighting to win his wife back, well – he better have some big gesture of love in the works. JWoww won’t settle for anything less than showing up at the courthouse shirtless with “BE MINE, AGAIN” drawn in body paint on his abs.

JWoww and Roger were together for five years before getting married in October 2015. They got engaged in 2012 during an episode of Snooki & JWoww. I thought it would last and that’s probably why. How could your marriage be cursed when you’re starting it in such close proximity to the human good luck charm keychain that is Snooki?
