Some Think Duchess Meghan Might Be Hiding A Possible Pregnancy Hint In Her Hair

We’re nearly twenty days into Royal Duchess Bumpwatch 2018, and according to Cosmopolitan, there’s been a new development. So far any pregnancy suspicions have mostly been based on clothing, specifically how baggy, loose, dark, or ruffled in the midsection they may be. Now people are analyzing Duchess Meghan’s hair.

This latest important development happened after Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry attended the Coach Core Awards at Loughborough University on Monday. Cosmo points out that Meghan was wearing her hair super straight, as opposed to the loose waves look she often has. Showing up without some beach waves in you ‘do isn’t normally an indication of being knocked up, but Cosmo says the hair clue might be one borrowed from Kate Middleton during previous pregnancies.

In September 2017, Kate announced she was pregnant with the third heir. Not long after, a reporter from the Evening Standard pointed out that Kate typically changes her hairstyle before she announces she’s pregnant. For example, before Kate was pregnant with Prince Louis, her hair was long. A few months before she announced she was pregnant, she cut a bunch of it off. Kate’s alleged plan was to distract people with her hair, so that they’d be looking up at her head and not down at her belly area.

Cosmo thinks Duchess Meghan might be trying to pull something similar. Except instead of a haircut, she’s whipping out the flat iron and pressing it Variety Show Cher straight in an attempt at some Vegas magician sleight-of-hand trickery.

The only problem is, it’s really not that different? At least to me. Here’s Duchess Meghan on Monday on the left and Duchess Meghan in July on the right.

If she really wanted to throw us for a loop, she might ditch the middle part or skip the shine spray. Or I suppose if distraction is her game, she could always divert all eyes to her husband by sending him out in pants and shirt that are two sizes too small. Hey, even if she’s not pregnant, that’s a gesture we’d all appreciate.
