Selena Gomez Really, Really Loved Jennifer Lopez’s Las Vegas Show

Selena Gomez recently announced she was once again taking a break from social media. But before Selena exited social media, she gave us a little peek into what kind of things and people gets Selena excited enough to whip out her phone and write a review. Apparently one of those would be seeing Jennifer Lopez perform in Las Vegas.

According to E! News, Selena went to Las Vegas on Saturday to see JLo perform one of her final All I Have concert residency shows at the Zappos Theatre at the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino before it closes at the end of the month. And according to the social media Thank You letter Selena wrote to Jennifer afterwards, it was practically a religious experience.

I won’t say what kind of religion, because we all know Selena doesn’t love it when you drag her church into it. So let’s just keep it vague and say Selena’s soul was lifted by JLo. Selena posted an Instagram Story thanking JLo for her artistry and telling JLo how much of an inspiration she is. Selena also delivered a message on behalf of God himself, who apparently also felt the JLo spirit that night.

Selena wrote the following. Warning: There’s an overuse of exclamation points!!!!

“JLo you are the definition of a triple threat!! Thank you for inspiring us female artists. You were absolutely incredible tonight!! I didn’t want to bother you while you had a moment. My flight leaves now or else I would have stayed! I’m so sorry!! I wanted to tell you how much you inspired me tonight!!! I haven’t felt that free in my entire life! Lol THANK YOU!! I just wanted to tell how amazing god thinks you are!!! He was speaking to me through your show tonight!! Like made me feel like such a woman!! Lol I love you so much!”

Made her feel like a woman? JLo might actually be a quadruple threat, because apparently she’s good at singing, dancing, acting, and claiming Shania Twain’s turf.

Selena’s message to JLo makes it sound like JLo dropped from the ceiling suspended only by one of the diamond chains she wore in the “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” video while radiating pure positive energy from her booty directly into the hearts of the audience. Which is to say, Selena is either being totally sincere, or it’s the booze talking. Hey, it’s Las Vegas – there’s practically an $8 alcoholic slushy machine on every corner. After two of those, you’re bound to believe God was tapping you on the shoulder and asking you to deliver a messages to JLo too.
