Joe Alwyn Knows How To Stay Tight-Lipped About Taylor Swift

The first rule about dating the Butterscotch Don is you don’t talk about the Butterscotch Don…unless she forces you to wear a love declaration in spaghetti strap form. Somehow, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have been going strong for nearly two years now, and somehow we haven’t heard much from him about her. Joe was recently interviewed, and he kinda broke the rule be mentioning Taylor! Well, he did that by saying he doesn’t like to talk about Taylor. Zzzzzz.

People says Joe is out promoting his new movie The Favourite, which also happens to star TSwift friend Emma Stone. He made the rounds at the Venice Film Festival and recently sat down with British Vogue, but luckily the reporter wanted to talk about girlfriend over that movie. Joe seemed to recognize that’s where our interests lie…and still managed to shit on our gossip dreams:

“I’m aware people want to know about that side of things. I think we have been successfully very private and that has now sunk in for people … but I really prefer to talk about work.”

We aren’t here to talk about your work, Joe! We want to know what color toothbrush Taylor has, if she lets you have your own drawer for clothes at each of her homes, and if she’s ever going to bring back that dreadfully terrorizing Fourth of July party! Ah, well. Sources have already snitched how Taylor is in a “great place” in her career and love life, which means she’s glad nobody is really holding her feet to the fire over Kim Kardashian ratting her out as a liar and people are asking less if she wants to slap Karlie Kloss in the face. At least we tried to get more intel re: her love life. I guess Joe has already done us a slight solid by going public with his formerly private Instagram to show he and Taylor were at the same cactus in May, so that’s something! Right?! God, I need a life.
