Amanda Bynes Might Be Very Close To Returning To Public Life

When you hear the word “comeback,” I should hope you immediately think of redheaded People’s Choice icon Valerie Cherish. But maybe you think of Amanda Bynes, because who besides those poor, overworked dancing lobsters wouldn’t want Amanda back? We’ve been hearing for almost a year about how Amanda has been doing well and is ready for a possible return, and E! News says it could happen soon.

Amanda Bynes’ life took a very abrupt nosedive south that ended with her being placed on a 5150 hold. Things got a tiny bit better, then returned to bad again, and eventually her parents got a second conservatorship over her life. Last year, 32-year-old Amanda gave her first real interview in several years and she seemed to be doing about a lot better. She claimed she was still a student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, and that she was interested in returning to acting. It was also reported that Amanda was going to try to dip her toes back into acting sometime in 2018.

There’s only four and a half months left in 2018, which makes you wonder if Amanda is going to reach her acting goal. According to E! News, Amanda probably isn’t lining up auditions right at this moment. Amanda’s attorney Tamar Arminak tells E! that Amanda’s current priority is to keep everything in her personal life going smoothly.

“The fact that Amanda is living on her own, making her own decisions and future plans is something her parents are so proud of. Finally she is surrounded by friends and companions she can trust and really open up to. She feels free to be herself, which brings her so much happiness and excitement for the future.”

Amanda’s parents still have a conservatorship, but since things are going so well, it’s apparently the “last thing” on anyone’s minds. She also reappeared last week for UsWeekly, where she talked about the launch of her fashion line, Vintage by A.B. (coming Spring 2019), and a possible return to television later this year. It’s not known what TV show is in Amanda’s future. I don’t want Amanda to throw herself into anything too serious all at once, so I would be okay if she broke the ice with a half-hour special presentation with Drake, where they sit down and awkwardly laugh at that time she asked him to murder her vagina.
