Iggy Azalea Was Maybe Dating DeAndre Hopkins But Now Is Definitely Not
E! News is saying that Iggy Azalea of rap slurring fame has found herself a new man in her life. No, things didn’t work out with Tyga, she isn’t lucky or blessed enough to be one of his baby mamas. It would seem that Iggy has started getting on NFL-person DeAndre Hopkins, with the two confirming their relationship on social media.
On everybody’s favorite flirting location, Instagram, Iggy and DeAndre swapped some coy messages to one another. The Houston Texan player captioned a photo of his “My Aussies call me legend” and Iggy, being an Australian herself, saw her opening and slid into that comment section quick with her own note: “I could think of a few things to call you“. Oh my! I see you Iggy, trying to get on that football D. What point is there in fame if you can’t thirst-flirt with hot dudes on Instagram? Right, Demi Lovato? The heat is rising in DeAndre’s comments.
Things continued when a fan asked DeAndre if he was Iggy’s boyfriend to which he replied “Yes indeed“. Iggy co-signed this comment saying he was “her man“. Oh my god I’m getting such 7th grade vibes here. Pass some more notes you two! Make out in the hallway after class! Pull her ponytail and push her in playground! Iggy even went on the Y100 radio station in Miami on Wednesday and confirmed they were dating again saying: “Yeah, we’re in a relationship.”
But either the permanently thirsty Iggy was parched for attention and the news of her being with DeAndre was faker than her ass, or they were together for a literal minute. Because TMZ reported that Iggy and DeAndre are in fact NOT together. DeAndre posted a story on Instagram where he said: “Y’all know I’m not a social media seeker but ya boi is SINGLE!!” Iggy also took back her comments posting this on Twitter:

Welp, there you have it: Ya boi is SINGLE! That was short-lived. I think 36 hours is a new record for a trash relationship to break apart. Congrats on the record Iggy. Although I do wonder if this was a contentious break up. I don’t know what a guy could do to piss Iggy off within the span of a day and a half, but considering how she dealt with the Nick Young break-up I would suggest that DeAndre hide his expensive shit!
