Demi Lovato Canceled The Rest Of Her Tour

If you were hoping to catch a Demi Lovato performance in Mexico or South America this fall, a pesky little thing known as rehab is getting in the way of that. Demi’s finally out of the hospital after her alleged overdose, heading to rehab, and as you may have expected, she’s putting the kibosh on the rest of her tour.

Page Six says Demi, who already postponed the South American dates in April to the fall due to “production issues,” will not be performing while she continues her battle against addiction. As y’all know, she was found unconscious in her bed at the end of July and was hospitalized for two weeks after paramedics had to administer Narcan. She immediately canceled an Atlantic City Show, just a month after she bailed on London shows on account of “vocal cord issue and illness.”

As soon as Demi got out of the hospital, she skipped town on a private jet to rehab outside of California at an undisclosed location but is known for being one of the best spots to get clean, which I’m sure just means they threaten to play the Selena Gomez discography anytime Demi tries to break sobriety. Demi took to social media the other day to give an update:

“I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery … I look forward to the day where I can say I came out on the other side.”

Honestly, cucumber water and journaling all day in rehab sounds way better than getting dragged for not even knowing where the fuck it is you’re singing, so Demi may have won out on this move.
