Angelina Jolie Is Angry At Brad Pitt, And Its Dragging Their Divorce Out

It feels like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s two-year divorce fight has been going on for an eternity. Sort of like how it feels watching By the Sea. Most recently, Angelina’s lawyer Laura Wasser was rumored to have quit her, and then it was stated she hadn’t quit her, but it’s still kind of lingering in the air that Laura is reaching for the door and is just waiting for Angelina to turn her back so she can run out to freedom without the fire-breathing dragon getting her. Us Weekly got a few sources to whisper their secrets to them and it’s pretty much the same of what we’ve heard so far.

A source says:

“Angie’s big issue continues to be sharing joint custody with Brad. …She can’t see past her anger for Brad that he is on his way to getting joint custody.”

Apparently she’s “objected to the coparenting classes” that the judge in their case is recommending, while Brad is going: “Meh,” and is “willing to try“. Brad has been happy to spend time with the child army this summer after a judge let Angie know that could lose custody if she doesn’t let her children spend time with their dad. Apparently Angie is getting more “venomous” in the divorce proceedings and is trying super hard to keep Brad away from the kids, even though the judge already said that “not having a relationship with their father” would be “harmful”. Of course Angie’s rep Mindy Nyby denies, denies, denies it all.

“Laura is not resigning from the case or planning to quit. The reason this story even arose is because someone misinterpreted the fact that new experts were brought in as the case moves into a new phase. The characterization of Angelina’s attitude toward the case is not true. She’s continually working to achieve the reunification of the children with their father. It’s really now between Brad, his kids and the family court, and the court will make a decision that’s in in the best interest of the children.”

Brad’s attorney does not want any new experts coming on for a “new phase” saying it “would only drag the proceedings on longer.” Well, Brad’s lawyer must be really pissed because a source tells E! News that an end to their divorce fight is not near.

“Brad and Angelina are not even close to settling their divorce. They are so hung up on dealing with the custody issues that they haven’t even exchanged any financial documents yet, which is routine in divorces and one of the first steps people take in the filing process… There will be no settlement or resolution anytime soon. They are kind of at an impasse at this point because the focus has been on custody; nothing else has been hashed out yet.”

Can you imagine being so angry and caught up in a divorce you haven’t yet looked at the financial aspect? Like, what? Why would you even divorce if you’re not getting paid? Truly this is madness.

This shit is contentious and messy. According to these “sources” (read: Brad’s team feeding lines to Jaques Jolie-Pitt) Angelina Jolie has been so evil to Brad that Disney has had to ask her to tone it down in the new Maleficent 2 movie. “Angie, the constant screaming from your trailer is  scaring Elle Fanning–did… did somebody put your prosthetic horns on already?” “Huh? These? No, these just grew out of my head earlier.”
