Nicki Minaj Squashed Beef With Cardi B With Fancy Baby Gifts (UPDATE)
Nicki Minaj may not be able to grasp the fact that Chun-Li is not a bad guy, but she’s still got some sense in her and she used it to extend a message of peace to Cardi B. After months of feuding and saying how Cardi hurt her feelings, Nicki seems to have buried the hatchet.
The Blast reports that, after hearing about Cardi giving birth to baby Kulture Kiari Cephus, Nicki went out and called the fanciest children’s store in all of Los Angeles and ordered up a basket of shit.
A source at Petit Trésor (as a French-speaking Canadian I can tell you that translates to Little Treasures, or Little Riches, so you can imagine the kind of people who work and shop there) revealed that Nick bought a gift basket worth $5000 for the new baby mere minutes after the announcement was made (she heard Cardi screaming ‘OKKUURRRRRR‘ during labor like a dog whistle and knew it was time). They must’ve really had a heart to heart at the MET Gala. Nicki specified the basket be “as girly as possible,” and was full of over-priced bullshit including luxury seasonal clothes, dolls and stuffed toys and a sterling silver rattle. Luxury seasonal clothes? For a baby? That is some disposable income shit, right there. You know how fast babies grow? And that shit is seasonal to begin with? Damn, that’s rich.
Don’t worry not all the gifts were for the baby, Cardi also got treated; there were also “luxury organic pampering items” in Nicki’s basket and about two dozen more orders have been made since the announcement of Cardi and Offset‘s daughter. I wonder which one contains baby Kulture’s first gold chain?
Who knows if Cardi B will respond with a thank you note that reads: “Thank you, just make sure to keep your brother away from my daughter forever.” And I wonder where Nicki Minaj will get the gift basket for Cardi after Offset cheats on her next time? Maybe she’ll get Cardi a diamond-encrusted gold at-home STD testing kit.
UPDATE: TMZ says Nicki never bought Cardi a $5,000 gift basket, so I guess this overcooked, beginning-to-attract flies beef lives on.
