Hot Slut Of The Day!

Todd, the hero puppy who saved his human from getting attacked by a rattlesnake!

If I took my dog hiking in the summer heat and we stumbled upon a rattlesnake just hanging out in its desert home, my pooch would totally spring into action and take care of the situation. And by that I mean he’d use every last strength in his almost-16-year-old body to get behind my legs and push me toward that rattlesnake as punishment for taking his old ass hiking in the summer heat in the first place. But heroic Todd here is not like my dog (and in my dog’s defense, you’d push me in front of a rattlesnake too if you lived with me for almost 16 years), and when a rattlesnake tried to bite his human, he let his inner Rikki-Tikki-Tavi out and threw himself in front of possible death.

Todd’s rise to viral fame happened after his human, Paula Goodwin, posted on Facebook on June 29 about how she and her two dogs went for an early morning hike on a trail near their home in Anthem, Arizona. While hiking along, Paula almost stepped on a rattlesnake, and well, when you almost step on a rattlesnake, there’s a good chance it’s going to try to bite your ass. But before the rattlesnake could put its fangs into Paula’s leg, her golden retriever puppy Todd jumped in front of her… and then time slowed down as Mariah Carey’s “Hero” played through the land right before he took the rattlesnake bite that was meant for his human. And that bite got Todd looking like Jocelyn Wildenstein.

Paula toldĀ KTAR News 92.3 FM that after Todd got bit, she immediately picked him up and ran down the hill with her other dog Cooper. She got Todd to an animal hospital in 20 minutes, and they gave him anti-venom. Todd is recovering and the swelling in his face has gone down so he no longer looks like three shades of Mickey Rourke (which kinds of sucks for him since Mickey Rourke is hot personified).

Todd became an instant hero and viral star after WeRateDogs tweeted about him. Someone close to Paula and Todd started a GoFundMe, which they say isn’t for his medical bills, but to help other dogs and their humans pay for anti-venom after getting attacked by a snake.

Because of Todd’s heroic move, he is now the king of that trail and I’m sure that anytime he and his human come across a rattlesnake, that rattlesnake and the other creatures of the desert will bow down to him out of respect. (Yes, life is a Pixar movie to me.) And as they all bow down, Cooper will throw a look like, “That motherfucker Todd just had to show me up like that…
