Cardi B Is Countersuing Her Ex-Manager For $15 Million

To celebrate this week’s incredible amount of Americana, rapper Cardi B decided to partake in one of America’s favorite national activities: Suing someone! Watch those bald eagles fly! …Right into court.

TMZ is reporting that Cardi B has had it with her old manager, the one who saw that his old client was making millions and so he jumped up and raised his hand and demanded a slice of the pie? A $10 million slice of the pie? Well, she slapped him with a counter-suit.

Klenord “Shaft” Raphael is in the process of trying to sue Cardi B for getting her on Love & Hip-Hop, creating her image, getting her signed with a major label, blah, blah, blah. Basically he filed court documents saying: “She thinks she’s gonna have a party and not invite me? Who does she think she is? I, like, practically invented her, you know what I mean?” You know who Klenord should be suing? His parents for naming him Klenord.

Yesterday, Cardi countersued Shaft for $15 million, saying that he was a shady motherfucker and she owes him nothing. In fact, HE owes HER. And she has a list. She says he hooked her in a bad management deal that was as good for him and gave nothing to her. According to Miss Cardi, Shaft was earning 20% commission and also tried getting 50% from her publishing deal with Sony.

And not only was Shaft out here allegedly trying to rob Cardi blind, he was also a controlling ass who put “barriers between her and people close to her in an effort to maintain complete control over her,” including “who she should and should not see romantically.” Um? Excuse me? No one gets between Cardi and her man Offset. Not her old manager, not hos he sleeps with, nobody!

You know, for a man calling himself Shaft, this guy seems very untrustworthy. This cat Shaft is a bad mother! Who is the man that would risk his neck for his brother, man? Not this one.
