A Magazine Claims That Priyanka Chopra Will Be Engaged To Nick Jonas This Summer
Last month we learned that 25-year-old Nick Jonas and 35-year-old Priyanka Chopra were rumored to be dating. A few weeks ago we learned that things had gotten serious enough that Nick brought Priyanka as his plus-one to a relative’s wedding. And now, according to an entertainment magazine from Indian, they’re just weeks away from getting engaged. Sorry Pete Davidson, but it looks like you’re not the only famous 20-something to impulsively rush out and buy a ring for the lady you’ve been seeing for a minute.
Filmfare reports that Priyanka recently surprised her family in Goa, India by bringing her boyfriend Nick along to meet them all. Priyanka’s cousin, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, confirmed Nick’s visit by telling the media that Nick was “fun.” While they were there in India, a source claims Priyanka and Nick decided to get engaged toward the end of July or in August.
Nick recently took their relationship public-ish by posting an Instagram Story featuring Priyanka and the caption “Her” with a hearty-eyed emoji.
Priyanka did something similar by posting a picture of Nick and her brother on a beach to her Instagram Stories with the caption: “My favorite men” with the same hearty-eyed emoji. That’s why you should always run social media posts past your publicist first. And it’s not because Priyanka’s choice of emoji and caption for both her soon-to-be-fiancé and her brother has her veering into Angelina Jolie territory. It’s because I’m sure they would have said, “Okay, but since we’re on the beach, wouldn’t it be more fun to just do one of Nick by himself, possibly shirtless? Just a thought.”
